CSR - Consumer Information

Field of action "Consumer Information"

The Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV) informs consumers in a neutral and in an open-outcome manner of enterprises' Corporate Social Responsibility activities. Citizens are hence enabled to reward enterprises' social and societal responsibility by opting for their product or service. 

The Ministry is planning several modules for consumer information on CSR for 2008 and 2009.

Consumers are made aware of the subject via publications and on the Ministry's Internet site.
