Implementation
The Federal Government would like to help companies implement human rights due diligence. In this context, it has collected various forms of implementation support, which provide companies with the necessary know-how and offer assistance with concrete challenges.
Sector dialogues
As part of the implementation of the National Action Plan on Business and Human Rights (NAP), the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs conducts sector dialogues. The aim of the dialogues is to provide guidance to companies in sectors with particular human rights challenges and to support them in adequately implementing the NAP requirements on human rights due diligence.
#FairSupplyChains dialogues for companies and trade associations
The dialogue series included two major framework events and four company workshops.
Guidance documents
In the implementation of the NAP, guidance documents can provide initial orientation and support.
Benefits for companies
There are many reasons why companies take CSR seriously. One of them is that it is in their own interest. This is an important factor, and indeed a positive one, because CSR is not a luxury, but something which benefits a company's business.
