Sector dialogues

To help implement Germany’s National Action Plan for Business and Human Rights (NAP), the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs organises sector dialogues. These dialogues offer guidance to enterprises operating in sectors with particular human rights challenges, and support their efforts to implement the NAP’s human rights due diligence requirements. This enables enterprises to help improve human rights in global supply and value chains.

Currently, sector dialogues are being held with the German automotive and the German energy industry. Dialogues with other sectors are planned. Should you be interested in launching a sector dialogue in your field or require further information on sector dialogues in general, please contact the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs at branchendialoge@bmas.bund.de.
